A daily journey is something I've been talking about. I just wanted to share some of my experience. The day has finally come. The first day of my daily journey. The two nephews and two grandsons I had with me helped me clean the house and rake the lawn. We had a good breakfast as well. My plan was to get them an ice cold drink for $1.00 at Burger King. At the same time, I wanted to be frugal and reward them. It turns out Burger King is no longer selling these drinks. In response, I thanked them politely and went to McDonald's. I was thinking what could I get everyone for lunch and wouldn't have to spend a lot. For me, I was thinking of five kids' meals, a frappe, and an iced coffee for my husband. My husband suggested getting the 40-piece nuggets if we were going to buy 5 kids meals. That's what we did, and guess what - a 40 piece order of nuggets was only $10.72. Our meal came to under $24. A cashier told us we had received a blessing as we approached the window and gave us the receipt. Thank you Lord and wave my hand to the people who paid for our meal.
